Premier 1 Construction came to life in South Bend, Indiana, in 2017 when Al Lusk stepped out on his own to fulfill his desire to bring better construction skills and services to area clients who voiced a need for strong construction experience and knowledge, and who could also boast a great history of trustworthy partnerships.

​

A native of South Bend, and offering over 40 years in construction, Al began his career in construction with Verkler, Inc., serving as supervisor, safety director, and project manager. Al then transitioned to Holladay Construction Group where he worked for over ten years, serving as a Senior Project Manager on a multitude of construction projects.

Since its inception in 2017, Al’s goal with Premier 1 Construction is to provide his clients with highest quality, integrity, and cost-effectiveness for their construction objectives. Al’s know-how brings a higher standard of service that blends with decades of direct involvement from a project’s beginning to its completion.

Al and his Premier 1 Construction team work to deliver solid Design-Build, General Contracting, Construction Management, Scheduling, and Pre-Construction and Construction Method Consulting. We’re here to ensure success for each client’s objective.
